Study Hall x Central Saint Martins
The Study Hall, a series of conferences hosted by The Library focused on sustainable literacy, hostedSustainability as a Culture, the fourth in its critically-acclaimed series garnering over 3 million media impressions and over 2.5 million social media impressions. After a successful partnership with the United Nations in February, the first international edition was held in London UK at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, in collaboration with Fashion Revolution gathering over 500 industry attendees. The event took place during Fashion Revolution Week, on the 6th anniversary of the Rana Plaza factory collapse.
The Study Hall x Central Saint Martins, powered by G-Star Raw, adidas, and Calik Denim, Youtube, gathered leading industry experts in fashion and textile manufacturing, paired with cultural influencers, academics, activists and artists including representatives from adidas, Stella McCartney and the British Fashion Council. Kerry Bannigan of the Conscious Fashion Campaign joined for a fireside chat looking at consumer-facing certifications and how to best communicate ethics and responsibility.
