Peace Boat x partnership expo
The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), the United Nations Office for Partnerships (UNOP) and the United Nations Global Compact hosted the inaugural Partnership Expo aboard the world’s largest passenger ship sailing around the world for peace, sustainability, and innovation. The event welcomed 600 United Nations high-level delegates, representatives from Permanent Missions, sustainability experts and private sector representatives.
The Conscious Fashion Campaign held a private preview co-curated by Celine Semaan, Co-Founder of The Library, at the Special Reception for the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development highlighting the importance of fashion partnerships for transformation toward resilient and sustainable societies. Brands included Slow Factory, Brother Vellies, Veja, Mara Hoffman, Studio One Eighty Nine, Sarah’s Bags, Fashion for Conservation, Michelle Pajak-Reynolds, El Voyage, ARANYANI, Barefoot in Business and TRADE by Gina La Morte.
Impact fashion brands were featured to raise awareness around conscious consumerism towards achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
