The Conscious Fashion Campaign presented a panel “Good Jeans: Denim Industry as a driver for the Sustainable Development Goals” moderated by Lucie Brigham, Chief of Office, United Nations Office for Partnerships. Panelists included: Kerry Bannigan, Founder, Conscious Fashion Campaign; Meral Guzel, Women’s Empowerment Principles Specialist – Empower Women | UN Women | WEPs | WeLearn | BuyFromWomen; Amber BARTH, Senior Programme Officer, International Labour Organization; and Riefqah Jappie, International Trade Center Representative to the UN.
Brands met on the show floor with the United Nations Office for Partnerships to learn more about the Sustainable Development Goals and about the opportunities for collaboration with the United Nations for the denim industry to achieve their goals.
