The Kingpins Show is an invitation-only boutique denim sourcing show featuring a highly-edited selection of vendors that include denim and sportswear fabric mills from USA, Japan, China, India, Italy, Turkey, Egypt, Pakistan, Thailand, Spain and Mexico; wash houses; full package manufacturers; trim providers; and makers of technology, wash chemicals and business solutions.

The Conscious Fashion Campaign returned for the Kingpins Amsterdam SS21 trade show in continued support of the Kingpins Show exhibitors’ standards and requirements in the areas of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Chemical Management to focus on sustainability and innovation. 

The Sustainable Development Goals took prominence in the educational sessions with a discussion led by Kerry Bannigan, Founder, Conscious Fashion Campaign. The panel Good Jeans: Sustainable Development Goals and the Denim Industry included speakers Lucie Brigham, Chief of Office, United Nations Office for Partnerships; Jayesh Mandalia, Design Manager, Ladies & Menswear, Denim & Casual Bottoms, Tesco – F&F; and Roian Atwood, Senior Director of Sustainability, Lee.

The Conscious Fashion Campaign/United Nations Office for Partnerships knowledge hub on the show floor informed members of the denim community about the Sustainable Development Goals and ways to explore furthering innovation and sustainable business practices.
