Dutch sustainable hanger company Arch & Hook (A&H) has partnered with the Conscious Fashion Campaign (CFC), in collaboration with the United Nations office for Partnerships, to work together towards a more sustainable future.
The Conscious Fashion Campaign engages the fashion industry to facilitate collective action towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The campaign coordinates advocacy, education and engagement of fashion industry stakeholders to implement responsible business practices that are mindful of social, economic and environmental impact.
Arch & Hook is committed to actions that drive awareness on the importance of sustainable practices for fashion, retail, and beyond. The brand has accordingly adopted goals fourteen(1) and fifteen(2) of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Created as a blueprint to create a better and more sustainable future for all, the SDGs call on governments, businesses and civil societies to strive to achieve sustainability within major challenges that affect our planet and livelihoods.
As their first initiative together, Arch & Hook created The Sustainability Salon Series, a monthly (currently, online) panel discussion, focusing on the intersection of sustainability and successful business practices. As a partner, the Conscious Fashion Campaign supports by sourcing diverse and expert thought leaders for each panel discussion. The CFC’s founder, Kerry Bannigan moderates the series. The next event will focus on Sustainable Legacies, and Lucie Brigham from the United Nations Office for Partnerships will join the panel.
