The Conscious Fashion Campaign will join SAP’s Sustainable Fashion Agenda for an interactive breakfast session, taking place on March 10th during South by SouthWest, to mark a milestone for the fashion industry to discuss how complimentary industries can play an active role in the acceleration of more sustainable practices and new business models.

Attendees are invited to immerse in conversation and interactive experiences such as visiting the clothes library to recycle clothing and loan new ones, see if the shoe fits with JACQ shoes – a SAP startup’s technology showcase on how we can eliminate waste in the supply chain and distribution powered by SAP Cloud Platform, and learn more about the Conscious Fashion Campaign supported by the United Nations Office for Partnerships.

The Conscious Fashion Campaign is dedicated to advancing fashion innovators addressing the world’s most pressing issues to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The initiative celebrates the changemakers championing conscious fashion as an influential force for global good towards our sustainable future, aiming to harness the power of retailers, media and influencers to embrace impact driven fashion brands to create positive change and drive conscious consumerism.

Ann Rosenberg, SVP & Global Head of SAP Next-Gen, will lead the discussion as a call for a systemic overhaul of fashion and with an aim to accelerate a transformation that is absolutely critical to focus on, this will focus on specific priorities to support achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals by 2030. The panel welcomes Kerry Bannigan, Founder of the Conscious Fashion Campaign, Jacqueline Yildrim, CEO and Founder of JACQ and Pierre Voltaire, Marketing Director of Fashion Week Brooklyn.

The Sustainable Fashion Agenda will take place at SAP House at Trinity and Second as part of a variety of activations that engage, inspire, and improve people’s lives. SXSW attendees are encouraged to visit the SAP House to learn how to make moments that matter – whether it’s delighting empowered customers, engaging an increasingly mobile and diverse workforce, being a sustainable developer and creator, or lifting up societies and becoming a connected citizen.
